Parade Rules
General Rules:
Motor Vehicles:
We look forward to a spectacular parade with lots of fun for everyone.
- Absolutely NO ONE under the influence of alcohol and or drugs are to participate in or have any involvement in the parade
- Absolutely NO open containers allowed
- The parade DOES NOT promote any political cause or election campaign; therefore there will be NO distribution of political fliers or endorsements of any kind.
- We ask all participants to keep in mind that the parade is a family friendly event. Should you have any questions please contact us directly or via email ([email protected]).
- The Parade Chairman reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual or group deemed offensive or in bad taste.
- A steady pace MUST be kept at all times to keep a steady flow of the parade. Any individual or group not keeping pace, may be asked to step off the parade route.
- Absolutely NO throwing or distribution of ANY items (including candy/gum, toys, etc.)
- If you have people walking that want to walk to the sidewalk and hand anything out, that is permitted, but no tossing or throwing anything.
Motor Vehicles:
- Safety is to be #1 in every drivers mind.
- Drivers need to watch the road at all times. Please do not allow yourself to be distracted by waving to friends and spectators.
- The parade constantly stops and starts. Keep a safe distance between you and whatever you are following (at least 50 to 100 feet).
- Watch for people (especially children) running across the street thru the parade.
- Ask your passengers to be vigilant.
- If you are following marchers, please allow some additional space.
- Absolutely NO throwing ANY items (including candy/gum, toys, etc.) from all vehicles.
- Also, no sirens, horns, or loud speakers will be permitted on the parade route. We have spectators on the parade route that are sensitive to loud noises and we ask that you adhere to our request.
- Anyone spotted tossing anything from a vehicle or while walking or creates loud noises as noted, will be removed from the parade lineup and will not be able to participate in future parades.
